Amidst a well layed courtyard with eye catching cutouts of famous cartoon characters, the Pre School Orientation was held at Basava International School on 8th April.

General Manager Ms. Poornima Ambli addressed the new parents and assured them of a safe and conducive learning environment. The Principal Dr. Manimala Roy stressed on the importance of value education in the 21st Century and gave valuable parenting tips to the parents. Mrs Uma Narayan, the school Counselor gave suggestions and guidance to parents on how to motivate their children. The parents correlated her advice with the daily challenges they face and gained a lot of insight. The Pre-school teachers introduced themselves, conducted a puppet show on health and hygiene. recited rhymes and explained the curriculum, other educational modules and extra- curricular activities. It was a fruitful meeting and the parents, teachers and school pledged together to strive to work conscientiously for the betterment of the children
