31 NCC cadets from Basava International School, Dwarka had participated in the NCC CATC (Combined Annual Training Camp) 2018, held from 13 June 2018 - 22 June 2018 at the NCC parade ground, Safdarjung Enclave. 16 girl cadets acquired the first position in the drill (march past) by beating several other schools and colleges, that included Senior and Junior Wing cadets, both from the Air Force and the Army battalions of NCC.

The cadets of Basava International School won the trophy for the best drill as they mesmerised the judges with their perfect coordination and discipline. In the camp, the Cadets attended lectures on self-defence, fire extinguishers, road safety, cancer awareness etc. The most exciting event was clutching a real rifle and firing.

Cadet Aashna Dutta won the third prize in the painting competition whilst Cadet Apoorva Satija was conferred with the Best Cadet Award.4 Cadets from the school were promoted to CPL rank. They are: Megha Bhardwaj, Aakriti Roy, M. Thanisha and Kirti Sharma. The cadets are a part of the "2 DELHI (G) AIR SQN NCC" unit of NCC.

9 boys also participated in the NCC camp organized by 7D BN at NCC Bhawan, Rohini from 12 June to 21 June, 2018 with great nationalist fervour.
