KLE Society - Since 1916 Celebrating 100 Years of Transforming Lives

A Grand 100 Years of Outstanding Service to Society.

In 1916, a dedicated group of teachers belonging to the Veerashaiva community, popularly known as Lingayats, embarked upon a dream. Their vision and the legacy of selfless service and sacrifice left behind by the founding fathers continue to be pursued sincerely by the Management to this day.

The Karnataka Lingayat Education Society, an organisation that fosters and values initiative among its pupils, has consistently risen to the occasion, always striving for excellence and achieving it. The commitment and dedication of the Society have transformed it into a vast educational phenomenon that manages more than 240 institutions. With a workforce of over 16,000 employees and more than 100,000 students, from kindergarten to doctoral programmes, the Society has made significant contributions and accelerated progress in various fields, namely healthcare, agriculture, engineering, IT, pharmacy, law, nursing, art and education.

Today, the selfless dedication and pioneering spirit of its founders are carried forward by the Chairman of the Society, Mr. Amit Kore, who has an impeccable track record of taking the Society to greater heights of success and excellence. The K.L.E. Society’s Basava International School, New Delhi, stands as a testament to the high professional standards envisioned and achieved by the K.L.E. Society.

Basava International School aims to inculcate the core values of the Society and shape the personalities of its learners. Basava strives to train young minds to become doers and achievers and to meet challenges with determination and compassion under the aegis of the KLE Society. The school is a blend of values, traditions, technology and a quest for excellence.
